I fished out my wireless mouse last week - I hadn’t had the chance until now since moving here, and was immediately hit by the “Your mouse batteries are critical” message.

So, I put my batteries on charge, and I’m just starting to wonder wtf the point was in that message, seven days of more or less continuous day time use later, it’s still working. What’s with that?

Is it a cheeky scam to make you use batteries quicker?
